What Is Ceramic Coating?

Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer applied to your vehicle’s paint that bonds to the surface, creating a durable, hydrophobic layer. It helps protect against UV exposure, light contaminants, and everyday grime — while adding noticeable gloss and making routine washing easier. Xtreme Sheen uses premium ceramic coating products including Opti-Coat, NanoPro, Autobahn, and C6.

Wheel Face 4 year ceramic coating

Description: $50 per wheel up to 20 inch wheels. $60 per wheel for over 20 inch wheels.

3 year graphene ceramic coating

Description: 3 year ceramic coating on all painted surfaces. Door jambs can be added for an extra charge. 1 hour cure period. Service includes decontamination wash, tires and wheels cleaned, tires shined, and clay bar treatment.

Autobahn Keramik X (6 year)

Description: Autobahn Keramik X is our 6-year ceramic coating. 12 hour cure time required. Extreme gloss, water resistance, UV protection, and protection from all of the elements make our Autobahn Keramik X a great choice. By far our most popular ceramic coating among clients.

Includes a decontamination wash, clay bar, wheels and tires cleaned, tires shined, and a paint enhancement.

NanoPro Borograph 3.0 or NanoPro Borophene 4.0

Description: NanoPro permanent ceramic coating is our best ceramic coating to date. Highest gloss and slickness. This coating is most often paired with our LPF installs but is still the best coating as a standalone.

Longevity depends on the product used and how well the vehicle is maintained — we’ll discuss expectations during your consultation.

Does ceramic coating make my paint scratch-proof?

No — it adds a protective layer with some resistance to light scratching, but it isn’t scratch-proof.

Should I get paint correction first?

Correcting the paint before coating typically gives the best results.

What products do you use?

We use Opti Coat, NanoPro, C6 and Autobahn ceramic coating products.

How much does ceramic coating cost?

Our 3-Year Graphene coating starts at $600 (Sedan), C6 Hydro Lite at $800, and NanoPro Borograph 3.0 / Borophene 4.0 at $1,500. Glass coating starts at $200 and wheel-face coating at $50 per wheel. Pricing varies by vehicle size.

How long does the ceramic coating process take?

Glass and wheel-face coatings take about 2 hours, 3-Year Graphene and C6 Hydro Lite take about 9 hours, and NanoPro permanent coatings take about 16 hours, including a cure period before you drive.

Can door jambs be coated?

Yes. Door jambs can be added to our 3-Year Graphene and C6 Hydro Lite packages for an additional charge.

Can I pair ceramic coating with Liquid PPF?

Yes. Our NanoPro coating is most often paired with Liquid PPF installs, and pairing a NanoPro permanent coating with full-vehicle Liquid PPF upgrades your LPF to a lifetime warranty.
